People of Indian Origin have succeeded in all corners of the globe despite facing unusual odds and discrimination of all kinds- ethnic, cultural, language and skills. It is, however, ironic that these great sons of the Indian soil are made to face many a hardship and hurdle on their trips back home. The quality of service that they are accustomed to is seldom available and many of them are fleeced at every stage of their stay. You can visit Delhi - Jaipur - Agra - other usual tourist places in sough/north India and then make a visit towards Lucknow + Varanasi (Baneras) + Patna (Bihar) and finally Calcutta. Calcutta is most crucial because all such people have left India from the shores of Calcutta by ships. Standing on Howrah Bridge, you can imagine your Great Grand Father crossing into Bay of Bengal and sailing towards far horizons.
Tamilnadu & Gujarat:
Visit Madurai, Trichy, Chidambaram, Velankali, Kanyakumari and explore the region. In Gujarat visit Rajkot & Jamnagar regioo, Ahmedabad, south of Gujarat like Baroda & Surat
Punjab:
Visit Golden Temple in Amritsar, Ludhia & Jullandhar and Chandigarh
